Abstrakt
Pandemia, która została wywołana przez wirusa SARS-CoV-2 (koronawirusa zespołu ostrej niewydolności oddechowej) odcisnęła duże piętno na zdrowie psychiczne i fizyczne populacji całej Europy. Celem artykułu jest omówienie tematyki związanej ze zdrowiem psychicznym i fizycznym osób podczas pandemii. W szczególności analizie poddano wpływ kwarantanny i izolacji na wystąpienie zaburzeń psychicznych. Badania dotyczące zdrowia psychicznego pochodziły z różnych krajów Europy- we wszystkich określono wpływ pandemii jako negatywny. Opisano wpływ decyzji rządu na rozwój stresu, depresji, lęku i PTSD (zespołu stresu pourazowego). Dodatkowo przeanalizowano wpływ zmniejszonej aktywności ruchowej czy zwiększenia podaży kalorii na rozwój otyłości, problemów z aparatem ruchu i chorób układu sercowo-naczyniowego. Częstość występowania wszystkich wymienionych zaburzeń została istotnie zwiększona podczas pandemii COVID-19 (choroby zakaźnej układu oddechowego wywołanej zakażeniem wirusem SARS-CoV-2).

Abstract
Title: Impact of isolation, telemedicine, and lockdowns during COVID-19 pandemic on mental health and physical health
The pandemic, caused by the SARS-COV-2 virus (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2), has left a big mark on the psychological and physical health of the whole Europe population. The aim of the article is to discuss topics related to the mental and physical health of people during pandemic. Particularly, the effects of quarantine and isolation on the ocurrence of mental health issues was analysed. Health studies come from different European countries—in all of them the influence of pandemics was defined as negative. The impact of decisions of the government on the development of stress, pain, anxiety, and PTSD has been described. In addition, the influence of reduced physical activity or increased caloric intake for the development of obesity, problems with the musculoskeletal system and cardiovascular diseases were analyzed. The rate of all disorders significantly increased during COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019).
